Qualification: B.E. / M.E. in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics /Controls Engineering
Job Description: AES is currently searching for an Industrial Automation Head to lead our Automation team. As the Industrial Automation Head, you will be expected to oversee the entire manufacturing process and provide automation solutions for different industries like automotive, consumer electronics, biomedical, semiconductor, and FMCG. The job holder will be responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating the complete automation project to improve the manufacturing process while ensuring the product’s quality and the process’s safety. The said person should have strong experience in Proposal engineering, Project management, execution, and commissioning for Industrial automation projects. Additionally, this role entails managing and expanding a team of automation experts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Design and implement Industrial Automation systems, PLC Programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Allen Bradley, etc.), Robotics Programming (FANUC, KUKA, etc), Interfaces with SCADA Systems, and MES Systems.
· Design, develop, install, and commission industrial automation system in compliance with ISA / ISO/ DO/ IPC / IEC and other Industrial Safety Standards, along with corresponding Standards related to Manufacturing Automation
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions.
· Conducting feasibility studies, VAVE analysis, and proposals for automation projects.
· Understand the technical requirements and communicate with the supplier for the development of components.
· Troubleshooting and resolving issues with automation systems, including hardware and software components.
· Mentor and manage team members in the development process.
· Lead and Conduct Hardware & Software Factory Acceptance Tests with clients.
· Lead and Conduct Field installation & commissioning including Site Acceptance Tests.
Required Skills
· Experience in the installation and commissioning of Automation systems in industry.
· Track record of completed projects in the automation domain
· Experience in verticals such as Industrial, Semiconductor, FMCG, Automotive, Consumer Electronics, etc.
· Knowledge of PLC programming from different manufacturers such as SIEMENS, Allen Bradley, and Rockwell Automation
· Knowledge of Robot Programming for robots like FANUC, ABB, and KUKA
· Collaborative and effective teamwork.
· Good written and verbal communication.
· Excellent design, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
