Description :

# AES is looking for competent candidates with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics catering to industries like Semiconductor, Automotive Bio-Medical and other relevant industries.
# The personnel should perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling and analysis in support of AES global and local engineering teams
# Responsibilities include interpreting customer inputs to create product simulation models required to perform CFD analysis, processing analysis, post-processing results and generating customer reports.
# CFD analysis may be used for validating design concepts, supporting root cause analysis, rationalization of existing product lines, redesign for cost reductions, quality, specifications, or product standardization, and product line expansions.
# Individuals may be involved in new product development, original equipment, and aftermarket services.

Mandatory Education and Certification

# M.E specializing in Fluid Dynamics in regular courses from recognized universities and institute in India.
# 5 – 7 years of experience in an industrial and/or research environment undertaking CFD analysis on components/products.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

# Ability to correct geometry and mesh the geometry as per standard requirements for a flow problem is a desirable requirement.
# Should have experience in proposal engineering in CFD & FEA related projects.
# Should have worked in internal and external flow problems and should have proven experience in providing solutions for components design using CFD.
# Should have vast experience in electronic cooling and packaging.
# Should have worked with components like air knife, nozzles for clearing coolant from castings.
# Should have worked with various types of fluids.
# Should have worked in FSI problems.
# Understands the various turbulence models and their best use cases.
# Understands the difference between steady-state, Multiple Reference Frame and Transient models and their best use cases.
# Able to define and use a grid independence check.
# Knowledge of various rheology parameters Newtonian, Pseudoplastic, Yield Stress fluids.
# Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to develop and check design validity.
# Understanding of cavitations with ability on associated modeling
# Understands various concepts of multi-physics (gas-liquid interaction, particles, Thermal coupling, fluid/structure interaction
# Familiar with ANSYS, FloEFD, SolidWorks and Inventor, understanding differences between and sensitivity between CAD and CFD models.
# Should have basic knowledge of FEA.
# Experience in ICEM meshing is an added advantage.
# Shall have the ability to design and generate creative mechanical solutions; translate concepts and information into images; apply design principles, solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
# Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills,
# Shall have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, a self-starter, have a sense of urgency, be personable and well organized.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

# Listen and understand the nature of customer request
# Devise plan to meet customer requests and receive customer approval
# Create and review 3D CFD compatible models from provided drawings or CAD files
# Develops CFD analysis of product design whether new and expansionary, incremental, or for product maintenance
# Extract quantitative and qualitative results of interest and perform necessary calculations
# Prepare presentable deliverables (e.g., figures, tables, presentations, written reports) for customer
# Analyses computational research work applicable to product performance.
# Write engineering specifications and reports as required relating to CFD analysis.
# Ability to implement automation processes for report generation and report standardization.
# Analyses CFD models and physical test data and assist design centers to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
# Evaluate performance test results and CFD analysis for possible application to the development of systems or other uses.
# Be proficient in computer-assisted engineering and design software (ANSYS, FloEFD, AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Office, OpenFOAM, etc.) and equipment to perform engineering and CFD tasks. Should be familiar with drafting standards and practices and apply them to drawing mark-up to show simulation results.
# Ability to work basic FEA simulations such as Model, Static structural and pressure boundary stress analysis.
