Designing medical devices is the initial step in developing new tools, appliances, and instruments for a wide range of medical and surgical procedures. This process involves not only the mechanisms and implements used to treat patients in hospitals and other medical facilities but also includes implantable, wearable, and portable devices capable of replicating human organ functions, delivering medication, and monitoring patient vitals in real time.

The functionality of the final product is dependent upon the design stage. At AES, we have the capability to design products for in-house manufacturing or create designs for clients who prefer to produce them at their own facilities or another facility.

AES team can design anything from entire medical devices to a single component of a larger device or system. We have years of experience in the design and manufacture of Class II and Class III complex medical devices.
